While you dream

The past few years have challenged me in ways I never thought possible.  My circumstances continue to test my spirit and yet I continue.  Every morning rising, working, raising my family and every evening processing... collaging, drawing, creating.  While few may understand, I will not let this world break me... I will do the best that I can if for no other reason than to know that when it is my time... I have expressed every bit of love that I possibly could, in every way that I know how.

Before I draw, I begin by collaging my subject matter.  I layer my imagery into elaborate scenes to help me to process what can feel like indescribable circumstances -- parenting, disabilities, relationships, grief and persevering. These drawings are representations of hope.  A chance to slow down and focus on love.
